These terms govern your use of our booking service. By completing a booking you agree to them.
The Service
Pony Club Ecotourism provides guided outdoor activities (rafting, horse riding, kayaking) and self-guided trekking on the Acheron River, operating from our base in Glyki, Thesprotia, Greece. Activities operate seasonally, typically May through October.
Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed when we agree it with you by phone. Prices are quoted in Euros and include Greek VAT at 24%. Children are defined as guests aged 4-12; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Arrival & Participation
Please arrive at Glyki Village any time within the arrival window shown on your booking confirmation. Participation in activities is subject to our guides' assessment of conditions and your fitness. We reserve the right to exclude participants who present a safety risk, without refund, if the risk arises from undisclosed health conditions.
Weather Cancellations
If we cancel an activity due to weather or safety conditions, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra charge. We are not liable for travel costs or accommodation expenses in the event of a cancellation.
Liability
Outdoor activities carry inherent risk. We provide experienced guides and appropriate safety equipment, and take all reasonable precautions. By booking you acknowledge and accept residual risk. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected activity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Heat & Horse Welfare
Greek rules for working equids set temperature limits for our horses and we follow them. When the official forecast for the area reaches 39°C or above, horses do not work at all that day, so we cancel every horse ride and refund it in full, including on the day itself. On days forecast between 35°C and 39°C horses may not work from 12:00, so a midday ride may be moved to the morning or cancelled and refunded. Rafting, kayaking and trekking are not affected.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thesprotia, Greece.
